Weekend Recap

I had a great weekend with the family! On Saturday I took Wesley and Lani to see Race to Witch Mountain. Wesley also brought his friend Ryan along. He is getting to the age where he always wants a friend to go places with us. The boys loved the movie because of "the non stop action". I on the other hand couldn't wait for it to end. UGH! Such bad acting:( I also thought it was a tad violent for a PG rating. Lani did okay in the beginning, but I had the iPod full of shows for her to watch.

We stayed home that evening when Michael got home from work. Lani went to bed fairly early and Wesley watched Star Wars. Michael and I watched Children of Men which was soooooo good. It left me wanting to know more though.

On Sunday Michael needed some new work boots so we headed out for and exciting shopping trip, lol! While we were out we also found Wesley some baseball cleats that were on sale. I can' wait for baseball to start:) My niece had another soccer game so we headed over for that. Lani was very happy that she wore her pink socks:)

I tortured everyone with a pit stop at the mall on the way home. I needed a belt soooo bad and had been putting it off. I found a really nice one in Lane Bryant! I also replaced some of Wesley's pants that had holes in the knees. How in the heck does that happen so quickly?!? I know I could patch them, but I am not really into that look, lol!

Ended my exciting weekend with a fun trip to the grocery store. Had to stock up on healthy food for my new food plan:P Man, I did a lot of shopping this weekend!
