NYE Celebration

Our New Year Eve ended up being more eventful then I had thought. I really wanted to go out with my friend Michelle and her hubby, but we couldn't find a sitter for the kids. Michelle offered to ask her sister, but Wesley wasn't too pleased that we were going to leave him home with a stranger.

Instead we ended up over at our friends house. Jen and Dave live right down the street and Wesley is best friends with their son so they kept each other occupied. We ate chinese and lobster. Yeah...interesting combination, but the lobster was more like a snack later in the evening, lol:) It's been a long time since I've had fresh lobster since Michael wont eat it. He was kind of grossed out by the whole process actually.

We watched the new Batman movie and part of House Bunny! I wasn't too interested in Dark Night and Lani couldn't watch it, so I spent most of my time keeping her occupied. I did like the hour I saw of House Bunny though. I need to borrow it so I can finish it.

I had hoped that Lani would have fallen asleep so we all could have rung in the new year together but there was no way. At 11:30 she was awake and losing it so we headed home. She threw a tantrum but eventually passed out on our floor. Wesley, Michael and I cuddled on the couch watching Dick Clark countdown to midnight. Gave the smooches then headed to bed!!
