Boy Scout Night and the Manchester Monarchs
This is Wesley's first year in Boy Scouts! I've always been nervous letting him take part since I didn't really know any of the leaders. We found out this year that a father of one of Wes' school friends was leading so we allowed him to join. It's been awesome and Wesley loves it. Last night we went to a Manchester Monarchs hockey game with the scouts. The boys got in free and the rest of us had discounted tickets:} We had a BLAST even though the Monarchs lost. Lani even decided that she wants to play hockey when she gets older.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's wary of putting my kids in programs when I don't really know the leader. I feel like the paranoid mom sometimes but I guess I'd rather be paranoid than sorry!
Anyway, I'm so glad Wesley was able to join, I'm sure he'll have lots of fun! My cousins have been in the scouts for years & seem to love it!
