Evenflo Select Comfort Giveaway
When Wesley was born in 2000 I was young, but knew about the importance of breast feeding. I tried in the hospital, but he wouldn't latch. I was frustrated and so the nurses just gave me a bottle and told me to try again later. Needless to say by the time Wesley was 2 weeks old he was on the bottle full time.
My experience with Lani was 100% percent opposite. Not only did the hospital have a lactation specialist, but the nurses were also very experience in helping a new Mom nurse her sweet baby. When they knew I wanted to nurse there was no giving up. We stuck with it and tried every position possible until Lani finally latched on. It was amazing!! Lani was a nursing champ and that was all she wanted to do. We nursed exclusively until she was about 17 months old. Lani never wanted a bottle and the cup was for water only. She wouldn't take any breast milk that I expressed for her.
I used a pump that I borrowed from WIC. It worked well, but there was nothing comfortable about it. Now Evenflo introduces their Select Comfort line of breast pumps and accessories.
Here's a little information:
- Improved cycle time
- Regulated power adapter
- Two individual pumps
- More stable bottle stands
- All components are BPA free
I have TWO Evenflo Comfort Select Performance DUAL select Automatic Cycling Breast Pumps for two of my readers. Along with the breat pump you will receive two boxes of Select Comfort Nursing Pads, one with Lanolin and one without.

I would LOVE to win a breast-pump! For ME :) I have been searching for a breast pump and had similar difficulties with breastfeeding as you did your first time around. I think a breast pump would be so helpful for me to try my second try around.

Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
What a great giveaway, Wendy! I nursed LG until she was 15 months old and have always felt so good about that decision. Not only is it the best thing for them nutritionally, but what a nice way to bond and SAVE MONEY!! I was determined to nurse the twins as well, even though I knew it might be a rough road. It hasn't been has hard as I thought.
If I were to win this breast pump, I would give it to my sister in law. My first nephew was born in February. My sister in law is nursing exclusively right now. She does pump and feed bottles, but she only uses a manual hand pump. Can you even imagine???? She's going to have carpal tunnel syndrome before it's over, lol. She has to go back to work in a few months, and I'm hoping she can continue to pump some when she goes back...if she doesn't break down and get an electric pump then I don't see that happening.
Anyway, what a great giveaway! Hopefully, this will help some new mom's breastfeeding experience easier!!
I'm so glad nursing your 2nd went better! My son wouldn't latch on for 6 weeks, I used a Medela that I borrowed from Wic also & pumped everything for him...but at 6 weeks, he latched right on & did great - wouldn't even take a bottle after 6 months, so we nursed exclusively until he turned one. This pump definitely sounds more comfy than the one I used! :) I'm expecting my 2nd child in December, so this pump would be for me! :)

Hi Wendy, I'm entering this giveaway for my sister-in-law who is unexpectedly pregnant after having recently gotten rid of ALL her baby stuff! :) They thought they were done after having three girls, but now it looks like they may end up with four girls like my hubby and I :) Of course, a little boy would be awesome too! Thanks for the chance!

The pump is for my friend. She has been having a tough time producing milk with her third child. She really wants to breast feed, but she is only able to do it very minimally. Her daughter was born on March 9, and suffered a few setbacks during birth. As we all know, breast milk is one of the greatest ways to help babies get healthy is rapid time.
I breast fed my son and loved it. Can't wait to breast feed my next child too.

What an awesome giveaway, Wendy! If I were to win it, I'd give it to Shanilie. Kendall was our last baby ( =( ) so I have no use for the pump & I can tell Shanilie REALLY wants & needs it :) How awesome would it be if I were to win & could give it to her (if she doesn't win it herself, that is ;) ). Either way, it's an awesome giveaway. Thanks for the chance to win :)

Hi Wendy,
I am entering for myself. My SIL Amy at www.saltymomma.com told me about your giveaway. We found out we will be having our fourth child in November and it was a huge surprise to us. I got ride of all my baby stuff about 5 months before we found out including a double electric pump that I used with all three of my girls. I had to pump with them because I wasn't producing breast milk and ended up having to take a prescription med in addition to drinking herbal teas and pumping in order to finally produce enough breast milk. I was able to bf with all three of them and I wouldn't want it any other way. Thanks for the chance!

I would love to win this for myself. I had the same experience with my first child as well. I was so dispondent that I could not feed him and had to resort to formula. I don't think I've since experienced such sadness. I hope and pray that with our next child everything will go much smoother!
Thanks for entering me.
