Our new deck

When Michael and I moved in these concrete stairs were in okay shape. We knew they would need to be replaced at some point. Well, this year we finally took the plunge. The concrete really began to fall apart this winter and the stairs were becoming a liability and a real eye sore.

You can see the up side down light that we are replacing also. We already bought new ones but were waiting for the porch to be finished before putting them up. Our door bangs into the one on the left which is why it's upside down:(

Here is the final product!! I love how it came out and had no idea that Michael asked him to make it this big. I am excited to dress the porch up a little with a few chairs and some flowers. I was thinking of staining it brown to match the house. But I don't really like the brown and plan on replacing that eventually.

Our old neighbor gave us some lattice that we will put around the bottom. We have a lot of annoying dogs in the neighborhood that will love to use it as a bathroom!
