Michael and I had an awesome day on Saturday! Ever since having Lani we have been neglecting a lot of friendships! It was hard bringing Lani places because she is not fond of large, loud groups of people! So, it was just easier to stay at home where we did not have to get stressed out over Lani being fussy! We live atleast a half an hour away from most friends so they rarely just pop in here either!

Yesterday we went over to one of my oldest friends house! Her name is Stacy and we have been friends since 9th grade! I love her to death and we certainly don’t see enough of each other. She has 3 boys and Wesley loves playing with them! So, we ventured out there yesterday afternoon and stayed until around 7:30pm. Lani was a perfect angel! She laughed at her crazy boys, smiled at her hubby (men scare the crap out of her), took a good nap, and even nursed well. I don’t know what it was about Stacy and Brian’s house but we plan on hanging out a lot more! Stacy and I just talked for hours while the kids played and Michael kept Lani occupied! It was sooo nice since I have been feeling really blah lately. I miss my friends and this day absolutely re-energized me! I actually felt like my old self for a while!

Thank you so much Stacy for such a beautiful day! I am sure that sitting around and talking seemed normal to you but for me it was a way to recharge! I miss you and hope we get together more often!
