After taking photos at Michael's show Saturday night I realized how important it is for me to get a new lens with a wider range. I will start saving and shopping around soon. I also wanted to thank everyone who has been visiting each week for "Weekly Winners". I have been horrible about finding the time to visit everyone else! I definitely will make a better effort this week.

I love the shots. my fav. is the close up on the guitar and the one of wes on the tire.
You would love the tamron lens I have.. its unreal the range compared to a regular 50mm or kit lens.
I have yet to put my old lens on since getting the tamron ;-)
Dont get me wrong the old one captured some great memories.. but it just didnt have any range at all.

I need to get back to playing the guitar. I do work on songs for Brenda' s Friends from time to time. Usually I am singing to Brenda and we both find something catchy so I record it on my palm piolet.

Great pictures!!! I have come to the same conclusion. I'm saving my pennies to buy the zoom lense and or the wide angle lens
